The weekend of May 14–17 is a long weekend in Sweden and schools are closed – a perfect opportunity for a mini vacation together (and to give the parents a well-deserved break).
You walk through the forest. The light filters through the trees, and somewhere in there it almost feels as if fairy tales truly exist.
Here, there is time.
Time to listen. Time to laugh. Time to simply be together.
Everything is prepared for you. In the morning, a breakfast basket awaits – simple, delicious, and filled with things that taste even better outdoors.
During the day, you head out along the beautiful walking paths and hiking trails of Sala, with a packed lunch basket and curiosity as your compass.
As evening falls, you light a fire at the shelter. You grill, talk, and perhaps share a story or two while dusk slowly settles over the landscape.
And in the midst of it all, the moments are captured.
In a beautiful setting, you meet fairytale photographer Susanne Gustafsson, who creates images of your time together – memories that will last long after the weekend.
