The Magic of Sala’s Winter Lights
Experience the enchanting ’Nattljus & Vinterskimmer’ – a breathtaking winter illumination that transforms Sala’s historic streets into a magic wonderland.
This spectacular light display runs from 4:00 PM, creating the perfect romantic atmosphere for couples and families to explore the charming town center together.
The light festival takes place between January 5 and 11, 2026.
Day One
Arrival & Evening Magic
2 PM – Welcome Café
Indulge in hot choclate with whipped cream & freshley baked pastries in our cosy café until 3:30 PM.
4:00 PM – Nightlight & Winter Shimmer
Experience the enchanting winter display in historic Sala town.
The image to the left shows the laser beam which, during the 2024 Night Light & Winter Shimmer, stretched from Queen Christina’s Shaft all the way down to the tower of Kristina Church in central Sala — a distance of 2.5 km!
