General regulations
Common areas
For everyone’s well-being, it is important that everyone keeps things clean and tidy and follows these general regulations.
Kitchens
There are three kitchens in total, one in each of the three buildings.
The kitchen in the Hostel building is located at the back of the ground floor. It has a dining area with two tables with 4 chairs/table. This kitchen is shared by the guests in the rooms 1-10
The kitchen in the upper floor of the main building is a small kitchen shared by the guests in the rooms 11-13.
The kitchen in the service building, called Lillstugan, is available for all guests both in the hostel the camp site. It has a dining area for about 20 people and a seating area with comfortable sofas and a TV.
We ask everyone to leave the kitchen in the same condition as you would like find it the next time. Please, wipe the table and wash the dishes and put everything in its place.
TV
Except for Lillstugan there are also TVs available in both the Hostel building and on the upper floor of the main building. In the hostel building, the TV is upstairs in the small living room.
Showers
Showers are available in all buildings. In the hostel building, there are showers on both floors. In the left part of the service building, there is a shower room for women and one for men. The rooms 11-13 share a bathroom with shower adjacent to the three rooms.
The rooms
All rooms and other areas available to our guests are equipped with code locks. The same personal code goes to all doors. The code is valid from 2 pm on the day of arrival and ceases to work at 10 am on the day of departure.
Sheets, towels and cleaning are included in the price
Other
Smoking is prohibited in all rooms and buildings! We ask everyone to respect this! Smokers are referred to the smoking area outside the outbuildings, marked with a smoking sign.
Sofielund is also an alcohol-free facility. We ask our guests to respect this.
Out of consideration for allergy sufferers, pets are not allowed in rooms and public areas, except for the room where pets are allowed. For pet owners, there is one (1) 4-bed room with direct access on the ground floor of the Hostel building. If this room is not bookable, it means that already has been booked by someone else.
Please be considerate of other guests and observe silence between 11 pm and 6 am!
Before departure
- Please make sure you don´t have left any belongings behind.
- We ask you to fold used sheets and towels and place them inside the door
- Collect any trash and put it in the wastebasket
When the reception is closed, messages can be left by calling
+46 70 799 87 77. An emergency number is posted at the sign ”Nyckel Inkast” on the ground floor of the hostel building, next to the stairs to the upper floor.
